    FINAL EXAM NOTES:

    • Final Exam is Comprehensive (covers whole course).   However, note the next item
    • 40 to 50 % of the points will be problems covering CHAPTERS 6, 7, and 8
    • For Chapters 6, 7, and 8 you only need to study the homework problems and class notes (since we did not cover all the material in these three chapters).  So make sure you  go through the solutions for Chapters 6, 7, and 8 given above.
    • Calculators are allowed
    • Two 8.5 by 11 in sheets of handwritten notes (double-sided) are allowed

    • (12/10/2002)  Graded HOMEWORK #10 is available outside my office.
    • (12/5/2002)  The final exam will be COMPREHENSIVE (i.e. cover all the material in the course).   For Chapters 6, 7, and 8 (HW10) you only need review the parts of the chapters that were covered on the homework problems (which is the same material that we covered in class).  There will be no problems on the Central Limit theorem (since we did not cover that in class).

    • (12/3/2002)  Here are the total class scores (see above).  Please check all of your grades (HW, EX1, EX2, EX3) to make sure that the are entered correctly.  See me if there are differences.
    • (11/26/2002)  The FINAL EXAM is Thursday, December 12 from 7:00 AM to 9:45 in the regular classroom (319 BUSN).  Calculators will be allowed.
